Interactive Workshops help learners retain information and apply them at appropriate situations, and prepare them for future roles and responsibilities by developing their interpersonal and problem-solving skills. These workshops also help develop critical thinking skills, giving participants more control over their learning, and an increased engagement. An interactive session makes the training more fun and enjoyable compared to traditional training methods.
Role plays engage participants in real-life situations or scenarios that can be “stressful, unfamiliar, complex, or controversial” which require them to examine personal feelings toward others and their circumstances. Role plays can be effectively used to motivate and engage participants, learn skills used in real-world situations (negotiation, debate, teamwork, cooperation, persuasion) and provide opportunities for critical observation of peers and learning through these interactions.
Case studies expose participants to business difficulties and decisions, faced by protagonists in the real world. Case studies also teach them to swiftly assess business problems while considering the larger organisational, industrial, and societal context, as applicable in the case under study. Participants are also taught how to apply theory in practice and how to infer theory from practice. The case method fosters critical thinking, judgement, decision-making, and action.
Business simulations serve as a link between classroom learning and the real-world applications of the same. Simulation is a hands-on learning method that emulates real-world situations, allowing participants to practise and develop their business acumen in a risk-free setting, while experiencing the thrill of gamified learning at the same time.
